Deadline for application of Polytechnic, Para Medical entrance exams extended
Candidates can now apply for these entrance examinations through the Board's official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, by May 6, 2025. The last date for fee payment and correction in the application form is May 7, 2025.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the deadline for submission of online application forms for the Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE), Para Medical (PM), and Para Medical Matric Level (PMM) entrance examinations 2025.
Candidates can now apply for these entrance examinations through the Board’s official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, by May 6, 2025. The last date for fee payment and correction in the application form is May 7, 2025.
Who is eligible?
Candidates must meet the following academic qualifications to be eligible for the respective course groups:
Must have passed or be appearing in the Class 10 examination in 2025 to apply for
Polytechnic Engineering and Para Medical Matric Level examinations.
For Para Medical (PM) courses, a candidate must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination in 2025.
How to apply for BCECEB 2025
To apply for BCECEB Polytechnic and Diploma Exams 2025, candidates can follow the steps as given here:
Step 1. Visit the official website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
Step 2. Select the relevant course link (PE, PPE, PM, or PMM) and register/login.
Step 3. Fill in the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
Step 4. Upload required documents and submit the application fee by May 7, 2025.
Step 5. Make any necessary corrections to the form by the same date.
BCECEB entrance exam 2025: An overview
The entrance exam covers diploma-level programmes in engineering, nursing, and paramedical fields, including seats in Polytechnic (16,170), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) – 3,524, and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) – 7,527.
There are also diploma options in Pharmacy, X-Ray Technician, Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistant, and Dental Mechanics. There is no maximum age limit for Polytechnic Engineering (Secondary Level), while for Para Medical (Secondary Level), candidates must be 15 to 30 years old as of December 31, 2025.
