Who We Are?

BiharConnect is a platform to share thoughts, ideas, experiences, stories and ask questions on pressing issues concerning the development of Bihar. The objective of this not-for-profit initiative is to reorient national discourse on Bihar by bringing development to the fore. We promote progressive and open debate and deliberations on key socio-economic issues by engaging different stakeholders including the government, business community, academia, professionals and practitioners.

Mission

BiharConnect has been set up with the motto ‘Prosperous Bihar for Prosperous India’. Our mission is to reorient national discourse on Bihar by bringing development to the fore. We strive to lead and aid policy thinking towards building a strong, prosperous, fair and equitable Bihar.

Bihar Development Forum

Bihar Development Forum brings together people from diverse sector that share the common purpose of empowering development of Bihar. It offers a platform to industry leaders, policymakers, bureaucrats, experts, academia, researchers and practitioners to have informed debate and public discussion on the issues related to social and economic development of the state. Leaders and policymakers share innovative ideas and best practices while domain experts, academia and researchers come up with innovative solutions and perspectives. The objective of this dialogue is to aggregate opinion, best practices and build a collaborative platform to achieve scalable social and economic impact.
