Former Bigg Boss contestant Manisha Rani, who belongs to Munger district in Bihar, has emerged as the winner of the 11th edition of a popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. As a winner of the popular show, Rani has won a cash prize of Rs 30 Lakh, and also a trip to Yas Islands in Abu Dhabi.
After winning the show, the actress dedicated her victory to her fans. She stated, “Mera humesha se ek line hai, ke humein apne baap se bhi zyaada bharosa apne fans par hai, aur dekho unhone mujhe show jitwa diya. I want to dedicate this to all my fans and thank you a lot.”
Manisha’s sense of humor, quick thinking, and authentic personality endeared her to audiences. Not only viewers but also judges Farah Khan, Arshad Warsi, and Malaika Arora were charmed by the “Bihar ki ladki” (girl from Bihar). Since news of her victory emerged, Manisha’s fans have been ecstatic, celebrating her triumph. They eagerly anticipate watching the moment when Manisha lifts the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 trophy on television.
Her choreographer, Ashutosh Pawar, received a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh and a trip to Yas Island. The finale episode of the dancing reality show was aired on Sony Television March 2.
The top five finalists of the 11th season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ were ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ contestant Manisha Rani, popular TV actor Shoaib Ibrahim, playback singer and ‘Indian Idol 5’ winner Sreerama Chandra, actor Adrija Sinha and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife and social media influencer Dhanashree Verma.
Manisha reflected on her ‘Jhalak’ journey and said, “This journey has been nothing short of a dream come true, and I owe it all to the love, support, and encouragement of the judges and the audience. I knew this experience would change my life, and it truly has. As a wildcard entry, I had to work twice as hard to prove myself, and every moment has been filled with excitement and my growth as a dancer.”
She further expressed her gratitude to her choreographer and shared, “I am grateful to Ashutosh, who has been very understanding and, each week, he has pushed me to broaden my horizon and discover new facets of my dancing abilities. This win is not just mine; it belongs to everyone who believed in me and supported me throughout this journey.”
The finale episode was graced by the cast of ‘Murder Mubarak’ — Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Verma, and Sanjay Kapoor. They also joined the contestants on the stage for a performance.
For the unversed, Manisha Rani and Dhanashree were the wild card contestants. Manisha managed to garner significant attention with her impeccable dance moves. Not only that, her bubbly nature even impressed actor Shahid Kapoor, who was there on the show to promote his film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’.
The show was judged by Malaika Arora, Farah Khan and Arshad Warsi and was hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani and Gauahar Khan.
